Our Story
Can it ever be too early or too late to share a little positivity that might just lift even one person up? I don’t think so. Timing, as we know, is everything; and the time for So About Today is now!
The inspiration for So About Today comes from a deep love and appreciation for all things positive, and for moments that give us the opportunity to be in that moment and love it. It’s a place for celebrating the positivity, kindness, and beauty in our world and within every individual.
My wish for So About Today is to provide a platform where in addition to my own thoughts, your ideas and inspirations can also find a home right here. Let’s collaborate and create a community that uplifts and motivates one another.
Consider sharing:
- a favorite quote in Simply Said
- something meaningful to ponder for Streaming Thoughts
- a picture that in your opinion is worth 1000 words for Today’s Photo Finish
I envision this as a place (our place), for all good stories to land. Stories that have moved our souls or have warmed our hearts.
Our title So About Today was chosen for two reasons: It’s casualness, as in telling an old friend about a special experience; and its immediacy as it’s all about living in a moment while understanding that it’s special; knowing that it’s fleeting; and deeply wanting to capture it all.
I’m often aware, and you probably are too, of those moments that feel so good that you want to stay in them forever. I’ve learned that these moments come when I gravitate toward things I love and things that require being 100% present in the moment. This is one of the many reasons I love horses and riding – full presence is required and thankfully so well rewarded.
This is Our Story.
In thinking ahead about So About Today and where we take this blog I don’t really know and I’m not sure it really matters. It’s all about Today.
